HIGHLIGHTS DURING THE TOUR:
Ananuri fortified castle from the 17th century and a Jinvali reservoir with amazing nature around.
After Ananuri complex, we will reach the rafting base camp. After a safety training, you’ll be equipped with the jacket and helmet. The boat will be accompanied by professional instructor who will instruct you before departure and will take care of your safety during the rafting. You’ll get ready to enjoy grade II-III rafting on the Aragvi river. The total length of the route is (13 kilometers), at the end of rafting adventure you will be driven by cars from end point to base, where you can enjoy traditional Georgian lunch on the bank of the river Aragvi.
An ancient town Mtskheta. It was the capital of eastern Georgia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. Mtskheta was the site of Georgia’s adoption of Christianity.
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral known as the burial place of Christ’s robe and Jvari monastery from 6th century. It stands on the top of the rocky hill at the confluence of Mtkvari and Aragvi Rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta. UNESCO recognizes both as a World Heritage Site.
At the end of the day, we’ll drive back to Tbilisi.
