Tbilisi is full of amazing sightseeing, but one place that you do not want to miss while visiting is definitely the Stonehenge of Tbilisi -The Chronicle of Georgia, which is located near Tbilisi Sea
It is a huge stone monument created by Zurab Tsereteli, famous Georgian sculptor and architect.
This place not only tells history of Georgia, but gives really spectacular views to surrounding vicinity. The monument sits at the top of a large set of stairs. There are 16 pillars that are between 30–35 meters tall and the top half features kings, queens and heroes while the bottom part depict stories from the life of Christ. There is a grapevine cross of St. Nino and a small chapel.
The Chronicle of Georgia is definitely a hidden gem in Tbilisi that you shouldn’t miss out on.
